(Anet) - ?
(Players) - Players who didn't qualify for BMP get missions and great content. Players who did qualify for BMP get continued exclusivity of rare weapons. Weapon trading market not further hurt.
Cons:
(Anet) - No further revenue from BMP. Reduced incentive for people to participate in future promotions as main content will be assumed to become eventually available for free.
(Players) - Cool skins still unavailable for those who didn't participate in initial offering.

I kind of agree with C.
I bought GWEN on the online store so I could get the BMP for the missions. I had no idea they would offer weapons. Now everyone whines because they now saw the weapons and desperatly want the BMP. To those I just say: You lost the true meaning behind BMP. BMP was made to give players missions to play that showed some aspects from the guild lore. Most people whining just want those weapons. Those people should'nt get the BMP. They don't care about the missions, they only want the weapons.
Those who qualified for the promotion did so because of the missions, not the weapons which we didn't know there were even going to exist.
Next time, get it for the missions, not for the rewards.

Rerelease it with no Weapons: People will complain about not getting a reward. Besides, these missions aren't very fun at all, but thats just me.Imho, If theres no reward, theres no point in wasting time on the mission.

Before the BMP came out, we didn't even know the weapons existed. Yet we all still had "open access" by buying stuff. How's that any different than your idea?

Years ago, there was a promotion to buy the complete, original Star Wars trilogy videos. The promotion stated that the original trilogy would never again be offered in this format.
Being a young person, I took the language of the promotion at face value and asked to get it for Christmas.
Imagine my surprise when one year later, they were selling the Star Wars Special Edition trilogy. Technically, these weren't the same films because of the added digital effects. Then, a few years after that, they offered the original trilogy for sale on DVD - not the same format.
Funny thing is I don't even own a VCR anymore.
Believe me when I say there is plenty of lawyerly wiggle room in that statement from Anet for them to offer the mission pack again. Plenty.

Missed this one. Just clarifying, AGAIN, that my original point wasn't mask = missions. Read my post a bit more carefully. I said it's as obtainable as a Tengu mask. You can't get a Tengu mask anymore, and you can't get the BMP. See the parallel?

No.
Gaile has said they will not open that door. No such clarity regarding BMP.
